Originally Adams Electrical, John Simmons created the company in 2003. John had a very successful career in the electrical industry, working for many years on the managerial side for a large company. For family reasons he decided to take a step back from management, and started the company, named after his son.
After a couple of years, John was finding himself getting busier, so offered Martin, who was a close family friend of John, the opportunity to join the company as an apprentice. Martin and Matt met at college, and in 2006, as the company was still getting busier, John offered Matt the opportunity to join the growing team. Both Martin and Matt learned their trade from John, who was an extremely knowledgeable, time served electrician who guided them every step of the way as they learned their craft.
John became ill and very sadly passed away in 2009. This was an enormous shock to everybody that knew and loved John.  
Martin and Matt decided that they would carry on with the business after receiving their qualifications in 2009, rebranded as Adams Electrics. 11 years later and the business has progressed to something that we feel John would be really proud of.
